Our Verdict
The LEKI Khumbu Lite AS Trekking Poles stand out for their balance of stability and comfort. The AntiShock system takes some of the sting out of long descents and hard-packed paths, while remaining controlled enough that the poles never feel overly soft under load. The Aergon CorTec grip is another highlight, sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a secure hold when tackling steeper terrain.
The aluminium construction gives the poles a dependable feel, and the Speed Lock adjustment system holds firmly once set. They are not the lightest option available, but the added confidence and support feel like a worthwhile trade-off for many hikers.
The AntiShock system adds a little weight and complexity compared with a fixed pole, but it remains the defining feature of the design. For hillwalking, long-distance trails and multi-day backpacking, these are a reliable and comfortable choice.
