Our Verdict
At 1,105g (excluding pegs and bags), this two-person tent strikes a strong balance between pack weight and protection. The 2025 update introduces Terra Nova’s TriPlex flysheet fabric, made from recycled, PFC-free, solution-dyed yarns—a move towards more sustainable design without compromising performance. AiroCorner reinforcements improve ground contact and waterproofing at stress points, while the new silicone groundsheet reduces weight and boosts durability.
The inner is long and low, with just enough width for two regular mats, though I’d consider it most comfortable for solo use with gear or for shorter trips with a partner. Dual side-entry doors are a welcome addition, making access easier and improving ventilation. Setup is fast and secure with linelock-adjustable corners, and the whole thing packs down small at 30cm x 14cm.
It holds its shape well when guyed out, and materials feel robust for the weight class. The darker interior is great for sleeping in, though it can feel enclosed during long spells, especially in the winter.
