Our Verdict
I’ve been using the previous version of the Houdini Stash for a while now, albeit the hooded one, so I was glad to see what feels like genuinely useful changes. The addition of side pockets is a practical win, and the new vent slits across the chest and back noticeably improve airflow during climbs. At 97g in a Medium, it still feels barely there, but it’s much more usable as a result of these changes. The half-zip is simple and low-bulk, promoting good airflow. The fabric remains the same, it has a slight crinkle, and is resistant to light moisture. Mine just lives in my rucksack and is always there when the wind picks up.
