Our Verdict
The Berghaus Hillmaster Windstopper Gloves weigh 65g in Medium/Large and use Gore-Tex Windstopper fabric to block cold wind while remaining breathable enough for active use.
For me, the low bulk is what makes them appealing. They still give you enough dexterity for trekking poles, zips and navigation, while the reinforced palm and fingertips add some extra grip and protection in the areas that see the most wear.
The touchscreen-compatible fingertips are useful when checking a phone or GPS without removing the gloves.
They are water-resistant rather than waterproof and not heavily insulated, so I would see them as a light glove for cool, breezy conditions rather than a full winter option.
