Our Verdict
The High Coast SS feels designed for long, warm days where comfort matters more than outright technical performance. The lyocell blend gives the fabric a softer, cooler feel against the skin than many polyester hiking tops. The material dries quickly, and at just 158g (Medium), it stays light enough for travel and summer backpacking without feeling flimsy.
I particularly like the moved-back shoulder seams, which reduce rubbing under pack straps better than you might expect from such a simple detail. The relaxed fit is comfortable, although it is less airy during harder efforts than a more technical mesh-style tee.
