Our Verdict
Light, neat, and built for movement, the Nano 18 is a strong performer for short hikes, travel, or everyday use when you don’t want to be weighed down.
At just over 500g, this 18-litre pack feels almost weightless on your back, yet still easily carries the essentials. The main compartment opens wide enough for a light shell, food, and extra layers, and I liked the addition of a separate sleeve for either a hydration bladder or tablet. There’s only one stretch mesh pocket on the side, but it held a 750ml bottle snugly and didn’t sag.
The front zip pocket is surprisingly roomy and has basic internal organisation – handy for keys and a snack bar. The back panel and straps breathe well, and the tuck-away hipbelt is nice, even if I rarely used it. Build quality is excellent; the fabric feels tough without being overbuilt.
