Our Verdict
These have to be some of, if not the best, socks I have ever used while hiking. They are soft and comfortable and instantly feel supported when you put them on. They have won awards from “Runners World Magazine”, “Men's Health Magazine”, and “Outside Magazine”, so I was keen to get my hand on them.
The thing that sets them apart from other hiking and running socks is the GripDry™ Fiber they utilise in the heel and forefoot of the sock, a grippy material that feels as it if has silicone or rubber in the weave, which helps your feet grip your shoe. This is brilliant if you are on uneven terrain, resulting in a more precise, confident step.
The Merino wool and Olefin fibre blended sock breathes incredibly well and helps move moisture away from the skin, resulting in fewer blisters. They have performed well in every environment and weather condition I have tried them out in. They dry very quickly; I tend to wear trail runners when hiking, so damp socks are par for the course, so I was pleased with how fast they dried.
