This adapter connects to our regular size valve found on our mat inflation devices. It increases the diameter to dock onto the larger inflation valve found on mats with integrated pump.
If you want to use the Schnozzel Pumpgag, Pillow-Pump, Mini Pump or a combination of Schnozzel and Exped-Packsacks with valve on mats with integrated pump such as the DownMat you will need this adapter to make the parts fit on each other.
And it retro fits on older generation mats with larger diameter valves.
Our Verdict
If you have a Schnozzel Pump Bag it won't work with a Mat with an integrated pump, unless you also buy this adaptor - the reason is that the valves on the Integrated Pump mats are slightly bigger.
