Our Verdict
a wonderfully warm pair of down mitts that have been insulated with 50 grams of 850 fill power down; these are seriously warm beefy gloves, not as Rab says for “stashing in a pack for emergency use” You will know if you are going somewhere. That needs this level of protection.
The main body of the glove has been constructed from a Pertex Quantum Pro, which makes them hard-wearing and waterproof. The lack of membrane close to the skin makes the gloves incredibly breathable. The palms of the mitts have been reinforced with textured rubber to aid with grip.
