Our Verdict
The Chair Zero LT at 509g remains firmly aimed at backpackers who want the comfort of a camp chair without feeling weighed down. The taller seating position and revised frame geometry make it noticeably easier to sit in comfortably for longer periods than the original Chair Zero.
I also think the new GhostGrid fabric works well here. The monofilament mesh improves airflow and keeps the packed weight impressively low. The DAC aluminium frame still gives the chair a reassuringly solid feel for something this light, and the setup remains quick.
The included stabilising strap is a sensible addition, particularly on softer ground where the chair can sink in. Larger users may still prefer a wider chair for extended camp comfort, but overall, this feels best suited to backpackers wanting a genuinely lightweight chair they will actually look forward to using at camp.
