Our Verdict
The Bedrock Cairn Evo 3D PRO Sandal is built for people who want a sandal that can handle proper trail use, river crossings and long warm-weather days. The Vibram Megagrip outsole gives them a clear advantage on wet rock and gravel.
At 222g per UK8 sandal, it is still light, but the 16mm zero-drop platform and 3D moulded EVA footbed give it more structure than a flat minimalist sandal. I like the Y-strap adjustment system, as it lets you tune the fit at several points.
For warm-weather hiking, river crossings, travel and lightweight backpacking, this looks like a capable sandal for people who already like a secure, zero-drop feel.
