Our Verdict
The Buff Speed Cap is a well-established design that focuses on breathability and a stable fit. At 36g (S/M), it feels light and sits close to the head, with a low-profile adjustment which helps it stay in place when moving quickly.
Breathability is a clear strength. The fabric and perforated ventilation holes allow heat to escape quickly, while the sweatband helps manage moisture.
The peak has enough structure to hold its shape, yet remains flexible enough to fit into a pocket. Overall, it is a simple, performance-focused cap that delivers consistent comfort in warm weather.
