Our Verdict
Real Turmat has designed a wide range of meals that are tasty, light-weight and aimed at everyone and for any kind of outdoor activity. With a good balance of weight, calories and taste the range has been very popular. The range uses a unique drying process that removes only the water from the original dish. This secures a nutritious and lightweight meal – really easy to prepare without removing any of the flavour.
There are also the 'Field Meal' range which are designed for a balanced diet, developed for personnel in challenging situations. They generally have more calories included to help replace those used on longer or more challenging adventures.

| STAFF'S TASTE TEST - Can be eaten hot or cold, I prefer my muesli to be cold so I just added cold water. Plenty of fruit in it, nice taste but a bit sweet for me and I’m not mad on vanilla, but a decent breakfast at 380 cals, not bad. |
