The Women’s Anthracite 20 uses Fireline Pro Eco synthetic insulation to deliver consistent warmth, weighing 1360g. Synthetic insulation is less compressible than down, but handles moisture far better and is much easier to wash and dry, making it a practical choice for damp UK conditions. The comfort limit of around -10°C offers a noticeable increase in warmth over the standard version, extending its range into colder shoulder-season conditions when paired with an appropriate mat.
The women’s specific fit is designed to better contour the body, with a reduced taper from shoulders to feet and additional insulation placed where it is most needed. This results in improved thermal efficiency without feeling restrictive, while still allowing comfortable movement in the bag. A full-length zip offers good ventilation control, helping manage temperature as conditions change, while the hood and draft collar seal in warmth effectively on colder nights.
The recycled fabrics feel durable without being overly heavy, and the overall construction is straightforward and functional.
