Our Verdict
Emergency bivis can literally save lives, in emergency situations or if an unexpected overnight stop is required. With Rab's Ark Emergency 2 Person Bivi being windproof, waterproof, very light and highly packable, I can't see a reason not to keep one in your pack whether out alone or with a friend, it is an essential piece of kit.
