Our Verdict
The Therm-a-Rest Air Head Pillow is for backpackers who want more comfort than a bare inflatable but still need a compact packed size. The baffled air core gives 10cm of adjustable support, while the synthetic-filled brushed cover makes it feel softer and less plasticky against the face.
I like the removable washable cover and non-slip base, as both solve common camp-pillow annoyances: hygiene and sliding around on a mat. It is heavier than ultralight air-only pillows, with the Regular listed at 110g, but that weight is justified for the comfort.
