At 42g (Medium), these feel purpose-built for moving quickly on the trail. The women ’s-specific shaping provides a closer fit through the heel and forefoot, helping reduce slippage inside trail shoes. The minimal cushioning keeps the feel direct, which suits lighter footwear and steady pacing. Ventilation is strong, with the merino blend helping manage moisture and odour over longer efforts. The higher cut adds a bit of protection around the ankle without adding bulk. Durability is good for the weight, though the thin construction favours speed and airflow over long-term cushioning.
