Our Verdict
The Tenacity Nano Hoodie is Montane’s lightest softshell yet, and at
245g (UK12), it’s become a go-to for fast hiking and scrambles. The GRANITE Stretch Nano fabric has an impressively smooth face, dries quickly, and offers just enough wind protection for moving quickly through exposed terrain. The cut is trim, and the hem sits higher than average. It is not a problem under a harness or hipbelt, but it is worth noting for those who prefer extra coverage. The under-helmet hood is neat and unobtrusive, and the bonded details keep bulk to a minimum. A great product for high-output use in mixed conditions where breathability and mobility matter more than full weatherproofing.
