Our Verdict
At 957g, the Osprey Women’s Tempest 11 is a compact pack for short hill walks, bike rides and fast-moving days where stability matters more than outright capacity. The AirScape back system keeps the load close to your body, so it feels secure when moving over rougher ground.
The women ’s-specific fit uses a shorter 36–48cm torso range, with an adjustable yoke, a shaped harness, and a padded hipbelt to help dial in the carry. I like the pocket layout for such a small pack, with hipbelt pockets, a harness pocket, side pockets, and a large front stretch pocket that provides useful on-the-go storage.
