Our Verdict
The Patagonia Women’s Outdoor Everyday Cargo Pants use a lightweight recycled nylon ripstop that feels breathable and cool even in full sun. At 317g for the medium, they balance durability and packability well. The PFAS-free water-repellent finish fends off light showers, and the 40+ UPF rating is a welcome bonus for exposed trails. The cut is relaxed without looking slouchy, and the tapered leg works well with low-profile shoes. The cargo pockets sit flat and are useful—big enough to stash a map or snacks without feeling bulky.
This is a versatile and comfortable option for hiking, travel, or day-to-day use when pack space is tight but you still want proper kit.
