Our Verdict
At 154g (UK 12), the Glace Hooded Top gives useful sun coverage without feeling like a heavy layer. The 125g/m² wicking fabric is the main strength for me: light enough for warm, active use, but with long sleeves and a hood for extra protection.
The slim fit works well under a pack, harness or shell, while the flatlocked seams help keep it comfortable next to skin. I also like the relaxed hood. It adds quick coverage for the neck, ears and head.
The HeiQ Fresh treatment helps with odour control, though I would still expect some synthetic build-up over longer trips. There is no stated UPF rating, so I would treat it as a sun-friendly layer rather than a certified sun hoodie.
