Our Verdict
The VAGA Fell Cap 2.0 moves to a fully waterproof outer fabric with taped seams, which has made a noticeable difference in persistent rain. The short peak maintains clear vision while offering basic shelter, and the low profile fits comfortably under a jacket hood. At 47 g for Small/Medium and 50 g for Medium/Large, it is easy to stow. The padded, high-wick headband and mesh lining help with comfort on steady climbs, though it feels warmer than non-water-resistant caps. The stitching, materials and the waterproof finish are reassuringly robust. For hill days with showers and wind, the Fell Cap 2.0 offers practical protection without unnecessary weight or bulk.
