Topo Athletic says:
The unstoppable trail comfort you already know and love, now all-weather ready. The upper features a GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit membrane to seal out rain, mud, and snow. The outsole features Vibram® Megagrip rubber to keep you surefooted in slippery conditions—maintaining the intentional lug pattern and depth of Ultraventure that allows you to transition from the trail to road to gravel without missing a beat. The high-cushioned platform features our ZipFoam™ midsole for a soft, yet responsive ride to carry you through. Same legendary comfort—now made waterproof.
