Our Verdict
The Ultralight and Watertight .3 kit has been my go-to medical kit for years. The contents cover the basic items I take on a multiday hike, minus medication, with sensible blister care, simple wound dressings and a few useful extras like tape and safety pins. Calling it watertight is a stretch. The outer pouch is waterproof, but once opened, you rely on a press-seal closure, so I prefer to decant the contents into a dedicated waterproof bag or use it to top up an existing first aid kit.
It is important to note that, despite what some sites suggest, this version does not include over-the-counter medication in the UK.
