Our Verdict
The Osprey Ultralight Starter Set is one of those products that doesn't seem particularly exciting until you start using it. The combination of packing cubes and a garment folder brings order to a rucksack or travel bag, making it much quicker to find clothing and keep gear separated throughout a trip.
At 222g for the complete set, it adds organisation without feeling bulky, and the lightweight fabrics allow the cubes to conform naturally to the available space inside a pack. The garment folder is effective for keeping shirts and travel clothing tidy, although it probably won't make it into my ultralight setup. For travel, however, I can see the appeal.
