The new ULA Flow water bottle holder features upgraded Duraflex ¾" Gatekeeper G Hooks for easier installation and a better fit across all ULA shoulder strap sizes. These G hooks have an adjustable positioning along the Flow making them more compatible with other backpack brand shoulder straps. A new Cyberian CL Micro cord lock allows quick, one-handed access—pull to open, pull to close—so you can stay moving while hydrating.
A refined pattern makes bottles easier to insert and remove, and the top loop doubles as a belt attachment for bear spray or other accessories.
The updated 700mL Flow works with the 1L CNOC Vesica collapsible bottle as well as 700ml SmartWater/LifeWater bottles.
Our Verdict
The updated ULA Flow Water Bottle Sleeve keeps a 700ml Smartwater bottle right where you need it—on your shoulder strap—using a lightweight mesh design and a simple, adjustable shock cord. At 31g, it's barely noticeable once attached. I found it works best with tall, slim bottles; anything wider tends to feel overstuffed. The sleeve mounts with two G hooks and stays secure while walking or scrambling.
