An updated POWERFLOW PRO midsole is even more durable and resilient than the previous version, increasing its lifespan. And new KPU overlays on the TRAILFLY™ V2’s upper give enhanced protection against rough rocks and vegetation.

Our Verdict
The TrailFly V2 builds on one of Inov8’s strongest trail shoes by refining rather than reinventing the formula. I particularly like the combination of a secure midfoot and a roomy forefoot, which gives plenty of space for foot splay without feeling loose or imprecise.
The updated POWERFLOW PRO midsole delivers a comfortable, well-cushioned ride that feels suited to long days on hard-packed trails and rocky tracks, while the revised Graphene outsole improves confidence on wet surfaces. The new upper overlays also add a little more protection and durability without noticeably affecting breathability.
The 4mm lugs are aimed at mixed terrain rather than deep mud, so this is not the shoe I would choose for boggy condidtiones. For long-distance trail running, fast hiking and everyday miles on varied trails, its a standout choice.
