Built using our ultralight fabrics and continuous filament CLIMASHIELD™ APEX synthetic insulation, Torrid Booties offer great all-weather performance and moisture tolerance. It’s also easy to wash your Torrid Booties of dirt, sweat, and oil.
The ankle closure features a thin shock cord and cordlock to secure the Torrid Booties on your feet. When you’re not using them, the Torrid Booties pack down small to fit just about anywhere in your pack. Like any sock, Torrid Booties aren’t meant for walking around outside your shelter.
Our Verdict
Designed for winter use or for those with particularly cold feet, these supremely light and incredibly warm insulated booties are the ideal solution. Weighing next to nothing, and packing down incredibly small, these booties feature a shock cord adjustment around the ankle to cinch in and keep the warmth in. Unlike other booties, these do not have a dedicated sole, making them unsuitable for pottering around camp, but they are more comfortable to wear in your tent or sleeping bag.
As they use synthetic insulation, they will keep your feet warm if they get wet and are much easier to care for than if they were made of down.
