Along with the amazingly low weight, they are remarkably strong and are ideally suited to providing a decent hold in good soil. Due to their thin design are not suited to particularly loose or soft ground.
Our Verdict
We're surprised at how well these Gram-counter Gear Titanium Pin Pegs support a tent, when the ground conditions are good then these pegs will do a good job. A surprising amount of strength for the amazingly low weight.
Pegs this thin can be difficult to see - the Gram-Counter Gear Pin Pegs are tipped with an orange coating to help you spot them. For the tiny weight they are a great addition to any peg bag as spares and for emergencies alike.
