Our Verdict

The latest from Flextail, the Tiny Pump 3X combines fast mat inflation with a bright five-mode camp light in a 69g unit. Its 300L/min airflow and 5kPa pressure should make it quicker and more effective than previous versions, while the included nozzles cover most sleeping mats, and vacuum bags.

The light ranges from a soft 15-lumen setting, which can run for up to 50 hours, to a 400-lumen hybrid mode. That gives it enough range for low-level tent lighting as well as brighter campsite use.

Battery life is limited to around 20 minutes when pumping, but that should still cover multiple inflations before recharging through USB-C.
