Our Verdict
I’ve been using the Gossamer Gear Stretch Odditty Bags to store odd-shaped or slightly bulkier items — things like a headlamp, a compact trowel, or a tube of sun cream — and the added stretch helps. The materials still feel just as durable as the standard version, but the bit of flex makes them more forgiving when packing awkward gear.
At 27g, they’re what I’d hope for in a simple ultralight organiser — light, practical, and easy to stash. I also like the colourway; it adds character to the kit without being loud. Like the originals, they’re not waterproof, but the fabric handles light moisture well enough for most trail conditions.
