Our Verdict
At 1287g, the Osprey Stratos 24 is a supportive daypack for longer hill walks. The AirSpeed back system is the main strength, holding the pack away from your back to improve airflow on warm climbs and long days.
I like the adjustability here. The 43–56cm torso range, padded hipbelt and load lifters make it easier to dial in the carry, especially when the pack is loaded with water, layers and food.
Organisation is strong, with panel access, hipbelt pockets, side pockets, a top pocket, and an included rain cover. It is not a lightweight daypack, but it works well for walkers who value ventilation, comfort, support and on-hand storage.
