The SOL Emergency Blanket XL offers practical protection for two people and feels a lot more durable than standard safety blankets. The polyethene material resists tearing far better than the fragile foil sheets many still carry, and it can double as a shelter wall, groundsheet or gear cover.
Its larger size gives decent coverage for two, and it remains easy to unfold and handle, even with gloves. The bright orange outer adds visibility in poor conditions, while the printed survival tips are a thoughtful touch.
