Our Verdict
The Sidequest feels most at home as the small bag you reach for once camp is set up and the main pack is left in the tent. At 107g, it is light enough to justify carrying on longer trips, but the pocket layout still feels genuinely practical rather than minimal for the sake of weight. I particularly like the front mesh pocket and internal dividers, which make it easy to organise essentials for wandering into town or around camp without carrying a full rucksack.
The cord-based carry system keeps bulk low, although heavier loads are less comfortable. Best suited to backpacking, travel and relaxed day use.
