Our Verdict
Julbo's Shield Spectron 4 Sunglasses do a great job of balancing style, protection and performance all round. The glasses feature removable sidewalls to ensure that added protection against the wind, rain and snow you might find up there. The style of these glasses makes them much more versatile than some of the other high protection glasses so still look good worn around town. The adjustable arms and strap provided will keep these on your head no matter what shape it is or what activity you're doing.
These come with Cat. 4 lenses which provide the highest level of protection from visible and UV light. The amount of protection is immediately obvious as they are the darkest in the range by far. Definitely not suitable for darker days or everyday use but ideal for high altitudes and very bright conditions where you need much more protection than normal.
