Our Verdict
The Sherpa Mitts feel immediately warm thanks to the high pile lining, which is soft against the skin and traps heat without feeling stifling. The Medium size weighs 78g and has enough room for a thin liner glove underneath, though anything bulkier starts to press against the fleece. The fit is relaxed rather than oversized, which helps with overall comfort.
Waterproofing is strong and holds up well in persistent rain or wet snow. Breathability is moderate but acceptable for steady movement. The silicone palm grip feels secure on poles and damp kit. The touchscreen works for simple navigation or a quick photo, though the nature of mitts limits precision.
The outer fabric has a small amount of stretch and moves easily, and the overall build feels reliable. The supplied stuff sack keeps them tidy when packed away.
