Our Verdict
The Robens Scoria UL +6C Down Sleeping Bag is clearly built around low weight and packability. At 440g in Regular, with 181g of 850-fill-power duck down, it is very light for a hooded, zipped sleeping bag and packs down small enough for summer backpacking, bikepacking, and fast overnight trips.
The key point is the temperature rating. The +6C figure is the limit rating, while the comfort rating is +11C, so that I would treat this as a mild-weather bag rather than a broad three-season option. Used with that in mind, the construction makes sense. The box-wall design, differential cut, draft collar and insulated zip baffle all help make the most of a fairly small amount of down.
I like that Robens has kept a comfort mummy shape rather than going too narrow, and the sharkfin footbox reduces the compression of insulation around the toes. The 10D fabric keeps weight low, but it will need a bit of care.
For warm sleepers and summer lightweight trips, it looks like a compact, well-featured down bag.
