Our Verdict
The Resolve 25L feels designed for active day hiking where stability and carrying comfort matter equally. The close-fitting shape keeps the pack secure when moving quickly, while the spring steel frame and structured back panel provide noticeably more support than many lightweight daypacks in this category.
The wide shoulder straps are particularly comfortable, and the adjustable torso system allows a more tailored fit. I also like the shoulder-strap pockets, which make snacks, a phone, or soft flasks easy to access on the move.
NEMO’s material choices help the pack stand out. The CERO fabric feels tough and weather-resistant without becoming overly heavy. However, it is the CCubed cushioning that I find most interesting. Rather than relying on traditional dense foam, NEMO uses a highly air-filled structure across the shoulder straps and back panel to improve airflow and reduce moisture build-up in the main contact areas.
The large panel-loading opening also makes organising layers and trail essentials quick and straightforward. Overall, this feels best suited to fast day hikers and lightweight mountain walkers wanting a stable, supportive technical pack for longer outings.
