Our Verdict
The Resolve 15L feels built for active day hiking rather than casual everyday carry. The wide shoulder straps and close fit are the key strengths, giving the pack a stable feel when moving quickly, scrambling or carrying a compact mountain-day kit. I also like the shoulder-strap pockets, which make a phone, snacks, or small essentials easy to reach without taking the pack off.
The material story is interesting too. NEMO’s CERO fabric gives the pack better weather resistance than a basic daypack, However, it is the CCubed cushioning that I find most interesting. Rather than relying on traditional dense foam, NEMO uses a highly air-filled structure across the shoulder straps and back panel to improve airflow and reduce moisture build-up in the main contact areas. On a small close-fitting pack like this, that makes far more sense than simply adding thicker padding, as it should help the pack feel cooler and dry more quickly during higher-output use.
Overall, this feels best suited to fast day hikers and lightweight walkers who want a small, stable pack with quick-access storage.
