Lightweight rain cover for the Kajka X-Lätt backpack. Made from 20D Sil-Sil polyamide triple rip fabric that is also used for our tents. Requires a little more care than other rain covers, but its low weight makes this an excellent choice for those wanting to travel light. Rain Cover Lätt can also be used with our other packs in the 45-55 litre size range.
Our Verdict
The Rain Cover Latt 45-50 focuses on low weight and packability, weighing just 65g. It fits neatly over 45- to 55-litre packs, with an elasticated edge that holds it in place well. The fabric is thin but effective at keeping rain off, helping reduce water absorption and drying time after use.
Fjallraven’s attention to detail is clear in the construction, with a clean finish and a compact integrated storage pouch.
For general trail use, it is a simple and well-executed option.
