Constructed from an ultralight, waterproof laminate developed for Apidura. The seat bag weighs less than 210g and securely fastens with a sturdy three-point attachment system. It’s designed to fit ergonomically under the saddle, minimising sway and reducing drag.
Light attachment points are laser-cut into the fabric, increasing rider safety without adding unnecessary weight. The saddle bag features a high-contrast reflective design to enhance visibility in all light conditions.
A roll-top closure provides adjustable capacity, and tailored webbing, straps and buckles shed extra weight, while ensuring the simplest setup for ease of use, when every second matters.
Our Verdict
Apidura Racing Saddle Pack 3L is an extremely lightweight and waterproof pack attaches to the saddle rails. It is sturdy when tightened with the Velcro strap and retained in place with the broad strap around the seat tube and does not move around whilst riding, even on uneven surfaces. It is a perfect size for carrying essentials if avoiding wearing a back-pack, or for extra storage capacity for bigger days out. The roll-down closure is quick and easy to use. This is part of the Racing range but is very versatile and not just for ‘racers’!

Material & Construction
- The racing saddle pack is made from Hexalon, a bespoke laminated fabric developed specifically for Apidura. Designed to fit the demands of ultra-distance cycling competition, the material is waterproof and lightweight, with strong tear and abrasion resistance.
- An integrated thermoset structure is fully bonded to the inside of the frame bag, adding stiffness and allowing the bag to be minimal and lightweight.
- Wash The Racing Frame Pack by hand, using a mild diluted soap if necessary. Afterwards, let it air dry.
- Do not machine wash, machine dry, or iron
