Our Verdict
The Inov-8 RacePac 10 is a thoughtfully designed vest pack that prioritises stability, accessible storage and long-distance comfort. At 212g (Medium), it delivers a secure, body-hugging fit that remains stable even when carrying a full load of food, water and extra layers. The vest harness distributes weight effectively, helping the pack feel composed rather than bouncy when moving over rough ground.
The front storage layout is particularly well executed. The flask pockets, stretch stash pockets and zipped phone pocket are all easy to access on the move, reducing the need to stop and remove the pack. I also like the inclusion of both front- and rear-pole attachment options, which add flexibility for mountain running and fastpacking.
Ten litres feels like a well-judged capacity, offering enough room for long days in the hills without becoming cumbersome. For ultra-distance running, mountain adventures and lightweight fastpacking, this is a thoughtfully designed vest pack.
