Our Verdict
At 244g (UK12), the Ascendor Light Pull-On combines a smooth outer face with a striped inner grid that strikes a balance between warmth and airflow. The slim-fit layers clean under a shell or over a base layer, and the half-length front zip offers quick venting on steep ascents.
Freedom of movement is excellent. The stretch panels and low-bulk cut allow full reach without restriction, and flatlocked seams keep it comfortable against the skin. The single chest pocket is practical for small essentials, while the dropped hem provides reliable lower-back coverage under a harness.
For active mountain use, climbing, or cool-weather layering, the Ascendor Light Pull-On remains one of the most effective midlayers in its weight class.
