Our Verdict
The Patagonia R1 Hybrid Pullover is a smart update on a classic, now tuned for greater breathability and mobility. At 287g (Medium), it blends Polartec Power Grid fleece with lighter Capilene panels under the arms and sides, keeping warmth where it matters and letting moisture escape where it builds. The fit is trim and mobile, with no bunching or restriction when reaching or moving fast.
Ideal for cool conditions on the go, this hybrid fleece strikes a balance between warmth and targeted airflow, providing stretch for added comfort. A dialled-in layer for fast, technical travel in the hills.
The half-length front zip dumps heat quickly, and the offset shoulder seams sit cleanly under a pack.
