The Q2xr is no larger than the palm of your hand, but with cutting edge components and technology our engineers have managed to squeeze out impressive 800 lumen. Everything inside is protected by the aluminum body, which is not only extremely rugged but also beautifully crafted in the signature Suprabeam design.
Our Verdict
At 67g including battery, the Q2xr is a neat solution when you want a full-featured torch without bulk. The beam is impressively focused for the size, throwing light a long way with its 800-lumen output, and the stepless dimming lets you dial it right down for map reading. I like that it remembers your last setting and gives instant access to max brightness with a single press. The anodised aluminium body feels solid, though the IPX4 rating means I’d still take care in a downpour. USB-C charging is a welcome touch, and the battery life is reasonable for short trips or evening use.
