Reliably protects against insects and adds a few degrees to the overall comfort temperature of the sleeping system. The inner area of the shelter - 1,97 sq.m.
Pyraomm Duo Half Mesh is setup with a trekking pole in the centre or suspended off the top. For setup, you need minimum 4 pegs. Stakes and pegs are not included.
Pitching with an ultralight tent PYRAOMM DUO TARP you get an ultralight frameless two-layer shelter with a vestibule for one person.
Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For sealing the seams, we recommend sealant based on silicone.
Setup:
- Stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular rectangle.
- Put the trekking pole inside the top of the tent vertically, about 130 cm. There's a special protective pocket for the poles or A-frame made of x-pac at the top inside the tarp.
- Tighten guy lines for good stretch of shelter.
Our Verdict
The Liteway PyraOmm Duo Half Mesh 1P is an impressively lightweight bug shelter for solo adventurers aiming to keep their pack weight to a minimum without sacrificing comfort. Weighing around 270 grams, it offers ample internal space with dimensions of 230 cm by 86 cm and a peak height of 130 cm. Constructed with NoSeeUm mesh, the shelter ensures excellent ventilation while keeping insects firmly at bay, making it particularly well-suited for warm-weather outings.
The 20-denier Silpoly floor with a 2000 mm hydrostatic head provides reliable ground moisture protection, and the slightly raised edges further reinforce this barrier. This shelter includes a large, zippered entrance for easy access and an overhead storage pocket, a handy feature for stashing essentials.
Set up is straightforward, using a single trekking pole at the centre or two poles in an A-frame. It can be paired with Liteway’s PyraOmm Duo Tarp to create a fully enclosed, double-walled shelter system for added weather resilience.

- We recommend this shelter if you are not more than 185 cm tall. For a taller person, the shelter may be not convenient.
- NOTE. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be covered with tips. Or you can put a soft cloth / equipment under the sharp end of the pole. Do not insert the sharp ends of sticks or posts into the shelter fabric. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be insulated to avoid damaging the Tent.
