Our Verdict
I'm a huge fan of this style of filter; fill up from the water source, screw the filter back on the bottle and off you go; you don’t even need to take your pack off. It’s a good-sized mouth, so filling the bottle is easy. The Peak Series Protects Against 99.999999% of bacteria, 99.999% of parasites and microplastics.
I'm unsure why they chose to make the water bag from a dark-coloured material, as I would much rather it was see-through, so I can check just how silty the water is before passing it through my filter. Also, you have to bring along a syringe to back flush the filter; not too much of a pain, but any extra gear I have to bring, and therefore potentially lose, is a drawback to me.
