Our Verdict
At 371 g (Medium), the Nano Puff Hoody remains a benchmark for lightweight synthetic insulation. The fit is trim but not restrictive, with a slightly longer cut that layers cleanly under a shell or over a thin fleece. The hood is well-shaped, offering close coverage without bulk, and the cuffs and hem drawcord seal in heat efficiently.
Warmth is consistent for its weight, and the jacket maintains performance when damp, making it well-suited to cold, changeable conditions. Breathability is moderate, maintaining comfort during steady movement, although opening the front zip remains the most effective way to vent excess heat.
The recycled polyester shell feels tough, with quilting that resists wear from pack straps and frequent compression.
The Nano Puff continues to deliver dependable insulation for year-round hiking and travel. It offers a balanced mix of warmth, packability and durability in a clean, unfussy design that remains one of the most practical synthetic jackets available.
