Our Verdict
At 493g (Medium), the Patagonia Fjord Flannel Shirt is a substantial piece, and for me that is exactly where its appeal lies. The 7.1oz organic cotton flannel feels soft, warm and reassuringly robust, with the sort of traditional styling that works just as well over a T-shirt as it does buttoned up.
This is definitely a casual piece rather than something I’d choose for heading into the hills. What I do like is the simplicity: two chest pockets, a comfortable Regular fit and a classic Patagonia look. A piece you will get years of use out of.
