An urban running head torch that is well-balanced and has an impressive max output of 400 lumens. It's a comfortable torch for prolonged periods and is incredibly low in weight and bulk.

Our Verdict
Designed primarily as an urban running head torch, the Ledlenser NEO3 Running Head Torch is an excellent option for runners who want a lightweight and durable headlamp. It has a comfortable headband and a bright LED light that provides plenty of illumination for running in low-light conditions. It has an incredibly powerful 400 lumens max output, considered a “boost mode”, that only lasts for 10 seconds or so, as well as a standard (200L), which would be your standard setting, a mid (100L) and a low (20L) output.
It works well for backpacking and around the campsite, too. I am a big fan of a head torch with a Transportation Lock, as I have been in a situation when my head torch was completely depleted after accidentally being switched on in my rucksack.
I feel the light at the front and battery pack at the back of the torch would be off-putting, having only ever used lamps that incorporate the battery, but I found the NEO3 Running Head Torch to be well-balanced, and I can see how that would be and advantage when running.
